Mid-Market Trading Underwriter Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled underwriter to join our team, focusing on Motor Trade or Property & Casualty business. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression with a leading Global Insurance company.

The role involves writing new business and existing business, depending on preference, while embracing our strategy to be an active mobile underwriter. You will have opportunities to work face-to-face with brokers and develop your underwriting skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing new business and existing business
  • Embracing and understanding our underwriting strategy
  • Developing underwriting skills through face-to-face broker visits and training

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of Motor Trade or Property & Casualty underwriting
  • Excellent communication, listening, time management, and negotiating skills
  • Previous analysis of risks and the ability to communicate and present effectively
