We are seeking an experienced underwriter to join our team. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial lines underwriting, with a focus on developing and expanding profitable business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of commercial property and casualty insurance policies with attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers and customers through exceptional customer service and market knowledge.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide expert advice to clients on insurance solutions tailored to their needs.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive growth and profitability within the team's assigned accounts.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in financial lines underwriting, with a proven track record of success in developing new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, including D&O and professional indemnity.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Existing relationships with brokers and customers, or ability to quickly establish new connections.
