Medical Clinic Operations Manager

Located in Western Victoria, our clinic is a reputable general practice established in 2020, known for delivering high-quality care to our diverse community.
We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join us part-time (up to 3 days per week) to help drive our continued success. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by fostering professional growth, strengthening our teaching culture, and supporting the recruitment of General Practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the practice owner to facilitate business planning, risk management, financial systems, HR, Quality Improvement, IT, and compliance, upholding high standards of care and a sustainable business model.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our culturally diverse patient base.
- Undertake regular risk assessments in financial services, human resources, facilities, clinical services, and patient services.
- Maintain positive relationships with third-parties, vendors, and key stakeholders, ensuring the practice complies with contractual obligations.
- Manage primary responsibility for electronic systems and computer security, consulting with our external IT contractor.
Required Qualifications and Qualities:
- Demonstrated leadership by example, with strong problem-solving and team management skills.
- Proven experience in general practice management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Xero or similar software.
- Experience with Best Practice or similar software.
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
