Operations Supervisor Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in QLD Archerfield Warehouse. This individual will be responsible for ensuring optimal operational performance across all warehouse functions, including inbound, outbound, picking, packing, inventory, and returns.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing warehouse operations, with experience in fast-paced environments. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate staff and encourage a team environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with external contacts as required;
  • Customer interaction and relationship management;
  • Supporting and driving inventory control and accuracy;
  • Ensuring staff adhere to safe work practices and work instructions;
  • Maintaining and evaluating KPIs to meet customer contractual requirements;
  • Staff management, including monitoring KPIs, training, mentoring, and development;
  • Assisting with identifying training needs and opportunities to develop the team;
  • Participating in internal or external safety and quality audits;
  • Conducting regular toolbox talks to discuss WHS, performance, and targets.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment;
  • Knowledge of SAP (WMS) and intermediate Excel skills;
  • Competent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Effective team management and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders;
  • Proven customer-facing experience with the ability to deliver superior customer service;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills;
  • Strong practical knowledge of warehouse best practices and lean principles;
  • Forklift license (High Reach & Counterbalance) desirable but not essential.
