GP Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled General Practitioner to join our team in East Gippsland. As a GP, you will be part of a large health and community services organisation that has been helping residents live well for over 40 years. Our practice is located in the beautiful Lakes and Wilderness region, with easy access to the Gippsland lakes and beaches, national parks, and snowfields.
Job Description:
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a comfortable, well-equipped, and spacious consulting room environment. You will be supported by a team approach to care delivery, with skilled and experienced registered nurses. Our digital medical records systems are integrated across sites, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Additionally, we offer co-located pathology services, a dedicated customer service team, and on-site allied health, counselling, and support services. You will also have the opportunity to participate in registrar and medical student placements, further enhancing your professional development.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must have current Specialist or General Registration with AHPRA, FRACGP/FACRRM registration, and medical indemnity insurance. A police check and working with children check are also required.
Benefits:
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a high income potential, with 70% of billings and a negotiable guaranteed base income for the first three months. You will also enjoy paid annual leave and personal leave, as well as generous salary packaging options. These include reimbursement of relocation costs (negotiable), paid subscription to clinical resources, and access to in-house professional development opportunities. You can also package up to $15,900 per year in general living expenses, up to $2,650 per year of meals and entertainment expenses, and remote area housing benefit. Finally, assistance connecting you and your family to local schools, community services, and other employment will be provided.
