Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct economic analysis and provide sound advice to senior government officials
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve strategic objectives
  • Develop and implement policies that shape the Australian economic landscape

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold an Australian-recognised undergraduate qualification (bachelor's degree or higher) in a relevant field such as economics, finance, law, or public policy
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Meet the eligibility criteria outlined below

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be an Australian citizen (or become an Australian citizen by December 2026)
  • Education requirements: hold an Australian-recognised undergraduate qualification (bachelor's degree or higher), completed, or to be completed within the last 5 years
  • Be willing to obtain and maintain a valid Australian Government security clearance at the Baseline level once accepted into the program
  • Undergo any police, character, health or other required checks
