About the Role

As a Real Estate Lawyer at Allens, you will be part of our market leading Melbourne based team and work with lawyers across all of our offices. The range of services provided by the Real Estate Group is varied. Your role within the team could typically include advising our clients on:

  • Significant commercial development projects, including commercial office towers, industrial facilities, build-to-rent projects, mixed-use precincts, and renewable energy projects.
  • Acquisitions and disposals of assets of all types of property classes, including commercial, retail, industrial, residential, and hotels.
  • Sale and leaseback transactions.
  • Tourist resorts and mixed-use developments and operation.
  • Joint venture and co-ownership arrangements.
  • Leasing and lease negotiation.
  • Real estate aspects of M&A transactions.
  • General real estate issues such as subdivisions, enforcement of securities, and financing.

You will have experience in a Real Estate team within a reputable law firm and have the ability to effectively manage matters autonomously and as part of a team. A strong academic background is also required. You will have a willingness to participate in business development activities and a desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others.
