Centre Cook Job Opportunity

Are you passionate about creating delicious and healthy meals for young minds and bodies?

We are seeking a qualified Centre Cook to join our team and become a valued member of our community.

As a Centre Cook, you will have the opportunity to shape the daily experiences of the children in our care by providing nutritious meals that meet their individual needs.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of children by preparing meals that account for special dietary requirements and allergies.

To succeed in this role, you will need to use your creativity and organisational skills to plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.

Additionally, you will maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling, and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting.
