Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Ashgrove Avenue Veterinary Clinic. As a Veterinary Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing gold-standard patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care in all aspects of nursing, including surgical nursing, anaesthetic monitoring, and client education and support.
  • Maintain a consistently high level of organisation and cleanliness within the clinic.
  • Assist with reception tasks, although this is a mainly surgical nursing role.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary nursing practices and techniques.

Requirements

  • Cert IV or Vet Tech Qualified with minimum 1 year clinical experience.
  • Confident in anaesthetics, placing catheters, and taking bloods.
  • A willingness to have a go and take pride in your work.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • RX works experience preferred but not necessary.
