About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wildlife Veterinary Nurse to join our team at RSPCA Qld. As a key member of our Wildlife Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to native animals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians in triaging and treating animals, ensuring the highest level of care and compassion.
  • Perform routine medical and laboratory tests, providing accurate and timely results.
  • Meet daily husbandry and feeding requirements for hospitalized patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Participate in emergency procedures and surgeries, working collaboratively with the veterinary team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Wildlife Veterinary Nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional care and compassion to native animals. If you have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and a minimum of 2 years' experience, we encourage you to apply.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of native animals, including koalas, possums, birds, and lizards. You will also have access to regular on-site training and mentorship from our experienced veterinary team.
