Fire Alarm Technician Opportunity

A Fire Panel Technician with our organization works standard hours Monday to Friday, with some overtime for necessary tasks.

They work with an existing team of fire technicians who drive around in a company-supplied vehicle to complete maintenance and service work on fire systems across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding on various fire systems, networks, and access control systems.
  • Installation and replacement of fire alarm panels and systems, along with associated components.
  • Assist in preparing customer quotations and identifying remedial work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with fire panels; ability to install, test, and repair fire systems/equipment.
  • Understanding of Australian Standards, such as AS1851, and knowledge of fire safety codes/regulations.
  • White Card
  • Driving Licence
  • Electrical Trade Licence/Certificate (desired)
  • Accreditation with FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) would be well regarded.
