About the Role
We are seeking a Permanent Full-Time Rotational Pharmacist to join our team at Slade Pharmacy. As a Rotational Pharmacist, you will work across multiple sites, covering various periods of planned pharmacist leave while gaining new skills and knowledge across our range of specialties.
The role involves conducting medication chart reviews, dispensing and supplying medication, coordinating patient medication requirements, and developing professional relationships with key stakeholders. You will also support patients, carers, hospital staff, and associated employees, as well as educate and advise on health promotion, disease prevention, and proper use of medicines.
You will be entitled to rotational/reliever rates and benefits where additional travel is required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A current AHPRA registered pharmacist or a Pharmacy intern awaiting general registration from AHPRA.
- Dispensing experience in an Australian-based hospital or community pharmacy.
- A current drivers licence and roadworthy NSW-registered vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
- An ability to work autonomously and value attention to detail.
Salary and Benefits
This is a competitive salary position with a base remuneration of approximately $120,000 per annum, plus set allowances including meal and travel mileage. You will also be provided with flights and accommodation for travel outside the greater Newcastle area.
