Electrical Estimator Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role involves providing technical support, designing switchboards, and generating standard drawings.

About the Role:
  • As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and design solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored switchboard designs that meet their requirements.
  • You will utilize AutoCAD to create detailed drawings of switchboards, including general arrangement, single-line diagrams, and bills of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance on electrical design principles, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
  • Analyze complex technical data and develop innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of all projects, including progress updates, issues, and resolutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Preferred)
  • Certifications in Electrical Design, Estimating, and Project Management (Advantageous)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating, design, and production of electrical switchboards
  • Expertise in electrical design principles and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerCAD, Streamgineer, and SAP
