Product Design Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for translating our brand's vision and values into innovative and compelling product designs.

Our ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for design. You will work closely with our creative direction team to understand our product vision and community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative direction team to develop product concepts that meet functional, aesthetic, and market requirements
  • Design and develop comprehensive technical drawings and specifications that guide the product development process
  • Translate conceptual ideas into detailed sketches and digital renderings
  • Communicate design concepts, proportions, and details effectively
  • Develop prototypes and samples, providing feedback on design aesthetics, fit, comfort, and functionality
  • Research and evaluate materials, trims, and embellishments to ensure optimal performance, quality, and aesthetic appeal
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to hit deadlines and work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Analytical and adaptable mindset
  • Proficiency in CAD tools and Product Lifecycle Management Software
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
