Operations Manager

This role oversees quarrying and processing activities at a sand site and FMCG packaging factory.

The Operations Manager is responsible for heading up the site, providing management oversight of two factories, and leading a team to produce graded sands and organic blends.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An Engineering or Advanced Trade qualification;
  • Strong planning and management skills to optimize output from multiple production lines;
  • A strong understanding of Lean principles and experience implementing continuous improvement;
  • Knowledge of processing, pumping, screening, and automatic packing equipment;
  • Good commercial acumen; and
  • An opportunistic mindset with a desire to seek new products and markets.
