Senior Financial Strategist

The job entails guiding the strategic direction of value creation and protection for a specific area. This individual will collaborate closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights, establish relationships with key stakeholders, and enhance financial acumen within operational teams.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement initiatives that drive value enhancement across various business functions.
- Build financial expertise within line leadership and guide them on monitoring activities based on cost and value metrics.
- Deliver critical and accurate financial analysis to support tactical and strategic decision-making in response to business challenges.
- Cultivate peer coaching and mentorship across finance teams to ensure performance targets are met.
- Lead the implementation and evaluation of financial improvement initiatives.
- Analyze findings from financial assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and share insights on cost savings initiatives and drivers.
- Collaborate with operations to collect and process data for the 2-Year Budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Evaluate the output from the 2-Year Budget and quarterly forecasts for variability and potential areas of improvement.
