Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Associate to join our team at Amazon. As a Procurement Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and unloading/loading trucks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate different PIT equipment
  • Load/unload trucks of non-inventory material
  • Move and store pallets in designated areas
  • Organize and maintain adequate stock levels of site consumables
  • Accurately perform system inputs reflecting received items
  • Research and troubleshoot non-inventory shipments
  • Support payment inquiries from account payable team, supplier, or other stakeholders
  • Perform daily cycle counts for items in stock, input data into designated platforms and shared spreadsheets
  • Submit daily quality reports in designated platforms
  • Work with Site Service Vendors to ensure service level agreements are met
  • Promptly raise flags to SPO/SPOC teams and leadership when risk is identified affecting material availability, quality, and/or safety
  • Act as site consumables POC
  • Monitor and lead team of associates to perform required activities
  • Contribute to and lead assigned activities by SPO/SPOC/Category management to deliver shipping-supplies initiatives and projects

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Forklift license

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Amazon Amnesty Floor Monitoring experience
