Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver learning and teaching goals for Learning Enhancement to enable personalised and differentiated pathways for students with specific needs.
  • Identify and review modifications and adjustments that students require.
  • Oversee exam provisions, both internal and external, and undertake the process of applications.
  • Mentor teachers on differentiation within the classroom.
  • Lead a small team of specialists in this area.
  • Coordinate and record student conferences (SSGs).

About You

  • You will have a passion for special education.
  • You will display exemplary abilities in differentiated instruction, effective pedagogy, and assessment strategies.
  • You will demonstrate an understanding of the need to address academic, social and emotional needs of students.
  • You will have a high regard for student wellbeing.
  • You will have recent experience in Learning Enhancement.
  • You will be qualified in Learning Enhancement.
  • You will have a proven ability to participate effectively in a team environment.
  • You will hold current Teacher registration with VIT.

We are seeking a teacher who will provide continuity for the Senior School student experience. Ideally, we seek a full-time position however, if part-time was desired we would consider a significant part-time allotment.
