About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our Finance Transformation team at ING Bank N.V. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in optimizing Finance services and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and realize improvements in end-to-end processes and document E2E processes within the finance space, in collaboration with the CIO and COO domains.
  • Optimize all process management activities across squads to enable effective decision-making and seamless cooperation.
  • Provide guidance to the entire value chain and colleagues in the area of process improvements, change management and E2E process mapping.
  • Provide engineers/squads with accurate information to support process optimization, efficiency, and technical decision-making.
  • Design and execute change management implementation practices to facilitate the smooth implementation of changes.
  • Facilitate workshops, research and gather data, conduct root cause analysis and statistical analysis on various initiatives.
  • Coach the business and finance teams in their behavior and decision making.
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve the adopted process methodology and tools within a fast-paced and continuously changing environment.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of processes, services and the supply chain concepts.
  • Excellent skills in using Aris process mapping tool, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in a traditional financial tech environment.
  • Data Modelling and ETL.
  • Experience with Visualization Tools like Tableau.
  • High analytic, problem-solving, lateral thinking and interpretive skills.
  • Ability to provide insights and analysis that are well presented and meaningful to the business.
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to use and understand data, metrics and dashboards.
