Experienced Forensic Engineer Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Engineer to provide expert advice on forensic engineering matters in our team. The role is ideal for candidates who can demonstrate sound technical experience in forensic engineering, excellent report writing skills, and excellent communication skills.
- Inspecting and reporting on building-related matters such as preparing causation reports on defects and damages to buildings and associated structures.
- Providing technical advice and detailed scope of works and cost estimates in accordance with Australian Standards and Building Code of Australia.
- Dealing with stakeholders including insureds, the general public, builders, and insurers.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably structural engineering), Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or National Engineering Register (NER) qualification, and at least 3 years' experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer.
Key Requirements:- A thorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Ability to scope and estimate the cost of repairs to domestic, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Ability to support conclusions by appropriate expert testimony in legal proceedings.
