We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Sourcing and Commercial Consultant to join our team at MinterEllison. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting the execution of ICT procurement processes with predictable high value outcomes under accelerated timeframes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage sourcing strategies and risk management plans.
- Lead strategic, end-to-end technology sourcing programs, ensuring alignment with commercial and legal objectives.
- Develop commercial strategies and coordinate procurement activities, including preparing and reviewing commercial documents.
- Work closely with legal teams to ensure commercial and legal objectives are aligned.
- Run and support large tender processes, facilitating evaluation across technical, financial, and commercial streams.
- Negotiate and execute contracts, ensuring timely finalization and preparation of executive papers for endorsement.
- Manage supplier performance and contracts, navigating Commonwealth approval processes as needed.
- 5+ years of experience in a consulting environment, focusing on technology procurement, commercial management, and end-to-end sourcing, or experience working for suppliers in commercial roles.
- Deep understanding of technologies and commercial reform.
- Undergraduate degree in Business Management/Commerce, Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, Finance, or Law.
- Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
