Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the People and Culture team to prepare and process end-to-end payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system, ensuring seamless data management.
- Prepare payroll reconciliations and journals with accurate cost centre allocations and cost recharges for shared resources, including security and legal.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations, guaranteeing a secure and compliant payroll process.
- Prepare and manage payroll reports and documentation for auditing purposes, providing transparency and accountability.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries promptly, ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Analyse and report on payroll expenses, maintaining accurate records and providing valuable insights.
- Manage payroll tax and other employment-related taxes and insurances, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to enhance payroll processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, Payroll Administrator, or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll regulations and procedures.
- Experience using Keypay payroll system, with proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment, with a collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
