Community Engagement Strategist

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of key projects that support the development and implementation of strategic community engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in delivering high-quality communications and stakeholder engagement strategies, ideally within a complex or community-focused environment. With tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations or a related field, you will have demonstrated expertise in planning and executing end-to-end engagement projects and developing effective communication materials across various platforms.

  • Lead delivery of key projects that support the development and implementation of strategic community engagement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies that align with the new Community Engagement Strategy.
  • Work closely with internal teams to build capability and consistency in how Council connects with the community.
