About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Water Infrastructure Technical Director to join our Water Team in Townsville. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering high-quality technical outcomes, including investigation, analysis, and design tasks to support water and wastewater systems planning and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver high-quality technical outcomes as part of a team, including investigation, analysis, and design tasks to support water and wastewater systems planning and design
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams delivering major infrastructure projects and providing water and wastewater infrastructure-related services
  • Work with clients to deliver sustainable water and wastewater system solutions
  • Contribute to winning work and market-led innovative offerings
  • Deliver technical expertise across the Northern Territory, Northern Queensland, and beyond
Requirements
  • Relevant Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree and have attained, or be eligible for Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) status
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including water and wastewater treatment, steady-state system hydraulic calculations, pump sizing & selection, and pipeline design
  • Experience with Industry Standards, Australian Standards, and Client Standards for Piping and Mechanical Water and Wastewater Design
  • Desirable experience with Industry standard software packages, such as Bentley WaterCAD & Hammer, Caesar II, etc.
  • Eagerness to undertake project management tasks and roles, with the ability to develop your career in our team
