Job Description

As a Test Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial backbone of a major organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of finance systems, driving innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key aspects of this role include test strategy development, test case design, and leading testing phases. You will also contribute to defect resolution, mentor team members, and drive improvements in testing processes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in functional testing of large-scale finance systems, including Oracle or SAP. They will possess a deep understanding of financial streams, core accounting knowledge, and solid principles of financial management.

Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and designs to ensure robust solutions
  • Lead testing activities, mentoring team members, and driving process improvements
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve defects and ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Contribute to SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management
QualificationsEssential Skills and Qualifications
  • Functional testing experience of large-scale finance systems (Oracle or SAP)
  • Deep understanding of financial streams (Source to Pay, Record to Report, Acquire to Retire)
  • Practical knowledge of GL accounting, reconciliations, financial and regulatory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, purchase order management, invoice processing, and payments
  • Solid principles of financial management
  • ERP Systems: Prior experience with Oracle Fusion or an equivalent enterprise-level finance ERP solution
  • Testing Tools: Working knowledge of JIRA, Zephyr, SharePoint, and Confluence for test and defect management
