Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to lead our Cyber Security program. This prestigious and rewarding position offers an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to contribute to the advancement of our research profile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning activities in Cyber Security, including undergraduate, Honours, and postgraduate programs.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex Cyber Security challenges through collaboration with industry partners.
  • Lead the development of new programs and courses in Cyber Security, ensuring alignment with industry needs and standards.
  • Mentor and support junior academics and researchers to enhance their skills and knowledge in Cyber Security.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a doctoral qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline, and professional/industry experience in Cyber Security. They will also have a demonstrated track record of excellence in teaching and learning, with evidence of student evaluations.

A strong understanding of Cyber Security principles, practices, and technologies is essential, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve outstanding results is critical to success in this role.
