Sr. Academic Position in Cyber Security

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven academic to join our team as a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Cyber Security. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of excellence in research, scholarship, and teaching, with a proven ability to foster a high-performance culture among peers.

The ideal candidate will be a leading expert in Cyber Security with a national/international reputation, making a significant contribution to the academic leadership and delivery of STEM's undergraduate, Honours, and postgraduate programs.

Reporting to a Professorial Lead, the Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor will enhance the research profile of Computer Science and STEM through the development of a program of high-impact and collaborative research, supported by competitive research grant funding in Cyber Security.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time, continuing position based at the Mawson Lakes campus.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning activities, supervising postgraduate students, and conducting high-impact research in Cyber Security.

The successful candidate will possess a doctoral qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline, with professional/industry experience and a demonstrated track record of excellence in teaching and research.
