Community Development Manager

As a Community Development Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation and management of staff and operational objectives in their local area.


You will motivate, guide and develop staff while working closely with Regional Managers to monitor and track performance and ensure delivery of services to customers and employers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the site, staff and assets.
  • Develop new business with employers and community networks.
  • Ensure achievement of performance targets through excellent customer service.
  • Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Review and lead development of staff capabilities through training and performance coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with contract guidelines and relevant legislations.
  • Provide leadership by fostering a positive team environment and culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Passion for community and connecting people to opportunities.
  • Results-driven with a people-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop staff using HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within contractual compliant environments.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Employment Services.
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to undergo Police and Working with Children checks.
