Job Description

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Linux software engineer to contribute to the development of high-quality software for our operating system.

  • Design and develop software components for Ubuntu Core and snapd
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize device-oriented software stacks
  • Write efficient and well-designed code for low-level system technology on autonomous devices
  • Contribute to technical documentation to make it the best of its kind
  • Participate in discussions and collaborate on finding good solutions

The ideal candidate has a passion for Linux or embedded systems software, experience with Debian or Ubuntu, and fluency in at least one of Golang, C, C++, or Rust. We welcome candidates who have experience with firmware, boot loaders, computer architecture knowledge of x86, ARM, RISC-V, or electrical engineering design tools.

As a software engineer, you will engage with the broader open source community and contribute to a broad range of technologies. You will also have access to professional development opportunities including mentorship and growth within the company.
