The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join our Corporate and International Tax team. As a senior member of the team, you will provide specialist tax advisory and compliance services to a wide range of clients, with a focus on mid-market clients. The role involves 70-80% advisory work, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with a Partner to manage and deliver assignments, develop junior team members, and build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review tax advice, reports, and other client documents
- Implement tax structuring strategies and provide M&A tax advice
- Conduct corporate tax compliance, including income tax return reviews
- Identify risks and apply global and local quality control processes
- Ensure client engagements are completed to a high standard within a specified timeframe
- Supervise and mentor junior employees
- Contribute to business development activities and promote the firm's services
- Minimum 4-5 years of management experience in Corporate Tax or Private Clients Tax
- CA or law qualification, with a tertiary qualification in Tax
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
