HVAC Sales Specialist

About the Role
The SM Seller is a key position in driving sales by engaging with prospects and promoting HVAC products and services to prospective customers. This role combines knowledge of HVAC systems with a strong sales focus to effectively identify, engage, and assist in closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize knowledge of HVAC systems to provide solution-based offerings to customers.
- Advise and guide on the appropriate HVAC solutions to meet customer needs.
- Present technical information and conduct product demonstrations effectively to potential customers.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify sales opportunities.
- Prepare competitive quotations and proposals to secure new deals.
- Focus on educating customers on energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
- Collaborate to develop effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets for region.
- Ensure profitability by considering cost factors and pricing strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and after-sales service.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales progress and achievements.
Requirements:
- Substantial experience in HVAC field or an affiliated mechanical services industry.
- Previously managed technical teams and projects in HVAC or similar field.
- Ability to lead and drive success through effective team sales management.
- Chair team meetings and facilitate review deliverables.
- Strong customer relationship skills.
- Understand urgency with customers.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
