Job Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Solicitor or Senior Associate to join our esteemed Employment, Industrial Relations and Safety (EIRS) team in Perth. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with leading partners and undertake a range of work that supports and advises blue-chip clients across multiple sectors on employment law, industrial relations, and safety matters.


About the Role:


In this challenging and rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in providing strategic advice on workforce strategy, enterprise bargaining, industrial disputes, industrial action, regulatory compliance, and all types of Fair Work Commission and Court proceedings. You will be responsible for running matters and supervising junior team members, ensuring the highest level of service delivery to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Delivering high-quality advice on employment law and industrial relations matters to blue-chip clients;
  • Working closely with senior lawyers to develop and implement business development initiatives;
  • Providing expert advice on workplace strategy, enterprise bargaining, industrial disputes, and regulatory compliance;
  • Supervising junior team members and mentoring them to achieve their full potential;
  • Maintaining a market-leading practice through continuous learning and professional development.

What We Offer:


We offer a competitive salary of AU$160,000 - AU$250,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including a generous parental leave policy, holistic wellbeing fund, and home office allowance. Requirements:


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A minimum of 4 years' experience delivering advice on a range of employment law and industrial relations matters from a leading top-tier private practice, government, or in-house environment;
  • An excellent academic record, strong communication and teamwork skills, and an interest in supporting the team's strategic business development initiatives;
  • Strong skills and experience in providing strategic advice on workforce strategy, enterprise bargaining, industrial disputes, industrial action, regulatory compliance, and all types of Fair Work Commission and Court proceedings.
