About the Role:
We are in search of a dedicated and skilled housekeeping attendant to become a vital part of our Environmental Services team at St. Vincent's Private Hospital. This role encompasses maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various areas within our facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike.
Position Details:
This is a casual position with a flexible roster, requiring availability across all seven days of the week. Shift times include:
- Morning shifts starting between 07:00 and 09:30
- Afternoon shifts starting between 15:00 and 18:00

Candidate Profile:
The ideal housekeeping attendant will possess:
- Experience in cleaning operations within a healthcare or hospitality setting
- A proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Flexibility to work a rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as polishers and scrubbers is advantageous but not mandatory
Compensation:
This position offers competitive remuneration in accordance with the St. Vincent's Health Australia Support Services Enterprise Agreement 2023, with rates up to $34 per hour, plus salary packaging and superannuation based on experience and qualifications.
