Housekeeping Supervisor/Environmental Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Environmental Services department at St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Campus Environmental Services Manager & Senior Environmental Services Coordinator with the professional and cost-effective running of the Housekeeping department.
The ideal candidate will have prior managerial and/or supervisory experience and the ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team. They will also have excellent understanding of rostering, productivity, and budgeting, with a strong financial acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Campus Environmental Services Manager & Senior Environmental Services Coordinator with the professional and cost-effective running of the Housekeeping department.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Environmental Service staff.
- Develop and implement cost control systems for staff, cleaning, and patient supplies.
- Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Environmental Services team members.
Requirements:
- Prior managerial and/or supervisory experience in a similar Health Care Facility or 4-5 star Hotel Executive Housekeeping Management, Assistant Management, or Housekeeping Supervisory role.
- Excellent understanding of rostering, productivity, and budgeting, with a strong financial acumen.
- Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
