Job Description

This role is pivotal in managing client portfolios providing expert advice and ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting services. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills excellent communication abilities and a passion for providing value to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients primarily within the finance industry including partnerships self-managed super funds trusts and companies.
  • Prepare and review financial statements tax returns and other compliance documents.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on a range of accounting and taxation matters.
  • Assist with advisory projects including strategic financial planning and FBT GST Div 7A Section 100A and Division 296 tax-related advice.
  • Mentor junior staff providing guidance and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CA or CPA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of five years of public practice accounting experience for the senior role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software particularly Xero and/or Class.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and accounting standards.
