This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate and caring individuals to join our South Melbourne Metro Team, providing domestic assistance and support to clients in their homes. If you're passionate about helping others enjoy their independence and quality of life, this role might be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing domestic assistance, including meal preparation and household chores
- Traveling between client's homes, supporting them with daily living tasks
- Assisting clients with personal care, such as showering, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Ensuring client rights, cultural, spiritual, and individual needs are respected and incorporated in all aspects of care
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide effective support to clients
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) or currently studying a Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing
- First Aid & CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- A valid Victorian driver's licence and a roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Commitment to Person-Centred Care and understanding of community care
- Team player with strong communication skills
