Corporate Governance Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Specialist to support our legal and compliance function. The successful candidate will work closely with industry experts to maintain high standards of corporate governance and board support.

The role involves providing corporate governance support for multiple legal entities in Australia, liaising with counterparts across the APAC region and USA, preparing and distributing board and committee reports, meeting packs, and scheduling board and committee meetings.

Additionally, the Corporate Governance Specialist will take accurate minutes in collaboration with the Company Secretary, board of directors, and executive team, coordinate and assist with reviewing PDS', constitutions, prospectuses, and other fund-related material, and support team assistants with office management and operational matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in company secretarial work with knowledge of Australian governance practices
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage competing demands and stakeholders in a matrixed organisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the Australian funds management/financial services industry is preferred
