About the Job:
We are looking for a skilled SCADA Engineer to join our team in Vestas Australia. As a key member of our Service Business Unit APAC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization in selling, installing, and servicing large-scale wind power plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detailed Engineering: Execute detailed engineering of SCADA systems, OFC networks, SCADA installations, and configurations.
- Troubleshooting: Design and troubleshoot network issues remotely and on-site.
- Test & Verification: Create and review test & verification procedures and reports.
- Maintenance: Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for installed SCADA/PPC systems.
- On-Call Support: Provide on-call technical support to remote sites.
- Reporting: Report on system status and coordinate updates.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics and/or Communication and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Control systems and/or Instrumentation.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in working with SCADA systems, preferably in wind power plants or the power industry.
- Skills: AB PLC programming and automation, MSCE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) & HP server experience preferred.
