The RoleWe are seeking an unaccredited Cardiology Registrar to join our team at Northern Health. As a Cardiology Registrar, you will work closely with our consultant and junior medical officers to provide care to inpatients and outpatients of the Cardiology Unit. This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with opportunities to manage patients with emergency cardiovascular disorders and participate in invasive procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiology Unit, working closely with our consultant and junior medical officers.
- Manage patients with emergency cardiovascular disorders, including ST elevation myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolus, and aortic dissection.
- Participate in invasive procedures, such as coronary angiography and permanent pacing.
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Experience as a registrar in cardiology or a related field.
- Sound knowledge of cardiovascular disorders and their management.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
