School Grounds Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled horticulturist to maintain the school grounds, ensuring they are safe, tidy and conducive to a positive environment.
This role involves overseeing turf areas, garden beds and shrubs, as well as managing hard landscaping features.
The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance tasks in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
They will also provide advice and support to colleagues on school grounds and maintenance matters.
Suitable applicants should possess effective communication skills, be able to work independently and develop good working relationships with staff and external stakeholders.
Eligibility Requirements
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights;
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit.
