As a strategic leader with extensive experience in transformation and program management, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex projects. This pivotal role involves driving assurance, governance, and performance frameworks that underpin successful transformation programs.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governance and program management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale transformational programs. They will be responsible for providing strategic oversight and direction to project teams, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with business objectives.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy and independence, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, sponsors, and project team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to project teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement robust governance and assurance frameworks to mitigate risks and ensure that projects are aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and prioritize areas for improvement, and develop plans to address these areas.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A tertiary qualification in program management or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in a consulting or government environment, with a primary focus on program management and administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing governance and assurance frameworks.

Additionally, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
