About the Role

This is a 8-month fixed term opportunity to lead the development and execution of brand strategies and multi-channel marketing campaigns for commercial wine and innovation.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing - Pinnacle Drinks to drive growth and success, and be responsible for leading a team of three direct reports, channel and content planning, data-driven insights, and financial management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of three direct reports.
  • Channel & content planning for each brand within your portfolio.
  • Use data driven insights to form strategic decisions and campaign development.
  • Drive the setup and inputs into monthly category gate papers for Commercial Wine.
  • Lead the development of new product concepts aligned to market opportunities and customer needs and drive product development from conceptualisation to launch.
  • Work collaboratively with internal Business Teams to deliver input and sign-off on new product launches.
  • Lead the marketing for our export brands including developing the brand portfolio for key international markets and distributors.
  • Become an expert on the market, consumers, customers & competitors.
  • Build great relationships with external agency partners, internal stakeholders in marketing and commercial functions, and International teams.
  • Financial management including management of budgets, accounts, quotations and reconciliations.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A real passion for the drinks business.
  • Wine category knowledge and leadership experience (5+Years).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a Senior Brand Manager role (5+Years).
  • Excellent brand, project and process management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to personally develop creative concepts, think independently and drive and deliver key activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within deadlines and budget constraints.
  • End-to-end brand management experience - customer to commercial at senior leadership level.
  • Strong knowledge of brand and product marketing principles.
  • Understanding of retailer brand management is advantageous.
  • Experience in leading, managing and developing a team.
  • Ability thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
