Welder - Exciting Opportunities

Are you a skilled welder looking for a new challenge? Do you want to be part of a team that's shaping the future of defence and aerospace?

We're currently recruiting for Boilermakers and Welders to join our Production Team in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in constructing naval vessels as part of the Hunter Class Frigate Program.

Job Description

You will work in Australia's most advanced shipbuilding hub, collaborating with experienced professionals to complete new and repair work on naval ships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • MIG welding on mild steel and flux core welding
  • Pipe welding and structural welding as required
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to specifications
  • Adhering to safety procedures and requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in fabrication with MIG or flux core welding
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications
  • Strong commitment to a safe work environment
