In this role based in Perth, you will join a team specialising in designing exciting construction projects in Australia and worldwide.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated graduate to start a career in sustainable design and the built environment as part of our established team of multi-disciplinary engineers.

You will develop your knowledge and skills by working under the guidance of experienced staff across multiple offices, assisting in analysing, reporting, modelling, and documenting sustainable design projects.

Your responsibilities will include performing sustainability design analysis, microclimate analysis, computational simulation, managing green building certification, developing water conservation strategies, reducing upfront emissions, and conducting energy audits.

As a graduate, you will work across various sectors, including Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail, and Residential, and have opportunities to assume greater responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop.

The Skills and Qualifications Required

You will be educated to degree level in Engineering, the Built Environment, or a related area, and have gained exposure to relevant skills in an academic or professional setting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to use your initiative to overcome challenges are essential in this collaborative and client-focused role.

Knowledge of ESD rating tools such as Green Star, NABERS, LBC etc., and experience with energy modelling software and parametric modelling software (Grasshopper/Rhino/Dynamo) are viewed positively but not essential.
