About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Coffs Harbour and surrounding communities. As a Support Worker, you will provide domestic assistance, intimate personal care, social support, and implement health and wellbeing initiatives that support our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, person-centered care to individuals aged 65 and above in the Coffs Harbour community.
  • Deliver domestic assistance, including cleaning and meal prep, as required.
  • Implement health and wellbeing initiatives that support our clients.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to provide comprehensive support services.
Requirements
  • A valid Australian driver's licence.
  • Ability to provide rights to work in Australia.
  • A registered, reliable, and fully insured motor vehicle.
  • Confidence in utilising various forms of technology, such as smartphones or tablets.
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or a willingness to obtain one.
  • A current National Police Check or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Flexibility in terms of availability, including the ability to work within the hours of 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday (with some optional weekend shifts).
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of $30.61 plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Eligibility for not-for-profit salary packaging.
  • A mobile work environment with a travel allowance of 99 cents per kilometre for driving between services.
  • A mobile allowance when utilising your personal device for work-related purposes.
