Mining Operations Leader

Leading a mining operation requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic planning, and a strong focus on safety.

Your Role:

  • Reporting to the Australian Managing Director, you will oversee WA mine operations, ensuring success through achievement of production targets and maintaining a safe system of work.
  • Build effective relationships with contractors, business partners, and internal departments to achieve operational goals.
  • Manage operational processes to ensure product quality targets are achieved and record compliance to short, medium, and long-term plans.
  • Perform analysis and strategic planning for continuous improvements across operations and establish key performance indicators for site management team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within mine operations or similar field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or relevant discipline and statutory WA Quarry Manager Certificate or First Class Mine Manager ticket.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, communication, and presentation skills and high level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite and Surpac.
  • Strong safety focus and ability to maintain a safe system of work.
