We're on a mission to create a scalable and sustainable data management framework that propels research outputs and transforms clinical care in the field of eResearch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhancing research productivity by streamlining workflows and optimizing resource allocation through technical solutions and guidance.
- Collaborating with researchers to understand IT requirements and ensuring alignment of IT services with research needs through effective communication and consultation.
- Optimizing high-performance computing (HPC) resources, supporting applications like Galaxy, for seamless data processing and analysis.
- Participating in developing and implementing best practices in eResearch services, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- A strong academic background, preferably in a relevant field such as computer science or information technology.
- Significant IT support experience, with a proven track record of providing excellent technical solutions.
- The ability to bridge research needs and technology solutions, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation.
- A collaborative mindset and awareness of emerging technologies in research, enabling effective integration and adoption.
