About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Property Underwriter to join our General Insurance team. As a Property Underwriter, you will be responsible for analysing and underwriting new and renewal business, using our Underwriting Framework within delegated authority levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and underwrite new and renewal business, using our Underwriting Framework within delegated authority levels
- Ensure an elevated level of service to customers
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of lines of business and legal and regulatory guidelines
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to effectively assess risk
- Strong knowledge of underwriting philosophy, techniques, national/local filing, regulations, and guidelines
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
