Family-Owned Business Seeking Skilled Operator

KLM Hire specializes in excavator, skid steer, attachment, and generator rentals. Our Bundoora depot serves customers throughout metropolitan Melbourne and Victoria.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled operator to join our small close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver equipment to and from site locations.
  • Servicing and preparing equipment using check-list process.
  • Maintain and repair equipment on-site and at the yard.
  • Clean machines, factory, and yard areas.
  • Interact with customers during equipment pick up and return.

Requirements:

  • HR Licence essential.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Mechanical knowledge preferred.
  • General knowledge of common hand-held power tools.
  • Multi-tasking ability and ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Earthmoving, automotive industry, or other relevant industry experience.
  • A reasonable level of fitness as manual labor tasks involved and physical/medical check may be required.
  • The right to permanently live and work in Australia.
