Job Title: Hospitality Assistant

Description:

As a key member of our hotel services team, you will play a vital role in meeting the daily needs of our elderly residents.

  • Prepare, plate, and serve delicious meals to our residents
  • Clean kitchen and dining room areas, including all related equipment
  • Wash dishes, load and unload the dishwasher

This is a physically demanding role that requires lifting, bending, squatting, and pushing items to carry out tasks safely. You must be able to perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, colleagues, or residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve healthy meals to our residents, considering their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Maintain clean and hygienic kitchen and dining areas, including equipment and utensils.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their requests and resolving any issues promptly.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar role, preferably in aged care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and availability to cover shifts
